Ask Jon: Should Influencers Tip on Comped Meals?

Dear Jon: Our PR person recommended we host an influencer for free. She seemed to enjoy herself and posted a review video on social media but didn’t take care of our staff. Should influencers who receive comped meals tip? And if so, how do I encourage/enforce that? Or do I need to budget for tipping my own servers in addition to the cost of the comp?
