Idid a double take the first time I participated in a Queer Food Foundation (QFF) event. It was after a panelist casually mentioned baking for Beyoncé. Between realizing that Queen Bey loves Funfetti cake and falling into deep discourse around what it looks like to embrace intersectional identities in the industry—as a food professional, no matter your background—these spaces are essential.
