In San Antonio, Levi Goode (Credence) marked his local debut with pub-inspired Otto’s Ice House at the Pearl. 

In Baton Rouge, New Orleans-based Tacos del Cartel expanded to Perkins Rowe. 

In Louisville, Kevin Grangier (Le Moo) opens a Japanese concept, Sake A Go Go, early May.

 

In Tulsa, the owner of Lone Wolf Banh Mi opened Daigoro, an Asian fusion concept along the River Walk. When Santa Fe Square opens in the Blue Dome District later this year, it will contain restaurants like Latin-inspired Maestro and an Italian concept from McNellie’s Restaurant Group.

In Oklahoma City, Lorena serves up contemporary Southern fare in Midtown this week. Fair-Weather Friend brewery calls it quits in May. 

In Atlanta, Quinn Bullard checked in as executive chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta. Nina & Rafi served its last pizza. 

In Dallas, Via Triozzi opened its rooftop space, Terrazza di Triozzi, for the season. Houston steakhouse Winsome Prime expanded to Trinity Groves. Anastacia Quiñones-Pittman is exiting Jose to work on her own restaurant, Eledi

In Raleigh-Durham, Brewery Bhavana expanded to the Fenton development in Cary. 

In Greensboro, N.C., North Italia sets up shop later this year. 

In Birmingham, Johin’na fuses Japanese and Southern cuisines downtown later this year. Georgia-based Lapeer Steak & Seafood is expanding to The Hardwick development. 

In Jacksonville, Plenti is closing in Riverside. 

In Tampa, seafood-slinging Cheeky’s lands on St Petersburg’s Central Avenue May 7. 

In Watersound, Fla., Quest Hospitality Concepts launches Scout sports tavern this summer.
