Before the pandemic, Hunt & Alpine was a place that worked. My husband, Andrew, has been in the business for 20 years, and I’ve been in and out of hospitality for almost as long. There was never really a reason for us to fully stop and rethink our model. It was the way restaurants had always been run, with tight margins and being dependent on paying people subminimum wages.
