Longevity Noodles Soak Up All the Flavor at Uncle Lou's

Michael Harlan Turkell

Louis Chi Kwong Wong has been a fixture in New York City’s Chinatown ever since he immigrated from Hong Kong 50 years ago. He had a long career selling and setting up cell phone plans for Chinese expats, and in 2022, brought lo wah kiu classics (which means “old overseas” or first-generation immigrants) to diners at his restaurant Uncle Lou.  One such dish is opulent, briny-sweet lobster yee mein noodles.
