It may seem like the “it” tea right now, but versatile rooibos has been part of the tea landscape at cafés and restaurants for decades. Reaped for centuries from the wilds of South Africa, rooibos is naturally caffeine-free. Known by other names—including red tea, redbush tea and South African red tea—rooibos has morphed into a popular alternative to coffee and other teas.
