Download Plate’s Naxolone Resources and Overdose-Reversal Posters
The opioid crisis disproportionately affects the restaurant industry. Of all professions, America’s restaurant workers are the second most likely to die of an overdose. And with the rise of fentanyl contamination of the U.S. drug supply, bar, club, and restaurant owners now have to prepare for the day when a customer will overdose on-premise. As daunting as it sounds, restaurants can also play an outsized role in reversing opioid deaths by training workers how to respond to overdoses and reducing stigma around the life-saving drug naloxone.
To get started, download a copy of Plate’s overdose response poster, share it with your team, and hang it next to your choking and CPR posters in the kitchen. We’ve created a few versions: 8½ x 11 inches or 18 x 24 inches.
We have Spanish, French, and Mandarin versions now available for download. (If there’s another language that would be helpful for your team, let us know at hungry@plateonline.com).
And if you missed our overdose reversal training session, you can watch it for free here.
