Denver’s Tocabe Supports a Nonprofit and Builds Indigenous Food Systems

Tocabe: An American Indian Eatery opened in 2008 and remains the only Indigenous-owned and operated restaurant in the Denver area. Since the beginning, Chef/Owners Ben Jacobs and Matt Chandra sourced all their ingredients from Native producers. In 2021, they expanded, offering Native-made goods for sale online at the Tocabe Indigenous Marketplace.
