In Hawaii, Rhoda Magbitang (The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern) became executive chef at CanoeHouse at Mauna Lei, Auberge Resorts Collection.
In Los Angeles, Conrad Gass joined the Shore Hotel as director of food and beverage. Anthony Wang (Destroyer) and Bill Chait took over the long-dormant Pok Pok space in Chinatown, with plans for a Chinese-American spot called First Born.
