In the last year, I've seen a lot of cooking competitions in restaurants. In any given week, two or more chefs are battling over who makes the better burger, bowl of ramen, doughnut or piece of fried chicken. I sometimes think it’s too much, and know more than a few chefs who agree and are tired of every event turning into a mini Top Chef challenge.
