Stop for a minute and consider how far food in America has come in the last few decades. Remember when all bread was white and could easily be smashed into a baseball of dough in your hand? When vegetables came from a can or frozen bag but were rarely fresh? When lettuce meant iceberg? When quality product meant it was flown in from Europe?
