Sharon Olson Named Treasurer Les Dames d'Escoffier International
Chicago (December 12, 2018) - Sharon Olson was elected Treasurer at the Les Dames d'Escoffier International (LDEI) conference on Oct. 10, 2018 in Seattle, WA. LDEI is an international organization of 2,300 women leaders in food, fine beverage, and hospitality whose mission is education and philanthropy. Ms. Olson is president and founder of Olson Communications and Executive Director of Culinary Visions and Y-Pulse headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. This is her second term LDEI Board appointment as treasurer and she has previously also served as secretary. She is a past president of the Chicago chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier. She holds an MBA with distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management and brings decades of experience in the areas of marketing communication and consumer research.
The LDEI Board fosters the growth and success of the organization by supporting the development of new and existing chapters, facilitates effective communication, connectivity and education among LDEI members. The board assists in planning the annual LDEI conference slated for Oct. 24 - Oct. 27, 2019 in Nashville, TN.
LDEI is an international organization of women leaders who create a supportive culture in their communities to achieve excellence in the food, beverage, and hospitality professions.
