In a small pot, combine sugar, corn syrup, water and salt. Bring to a boil and cook syrup to 240 degrees F. In a mixer, whip egg whites to soft peaks. With mixer running, stream hot syrup into egg whites. Continue whipping on high. Mixture will thicken as it cools. When mixture is cool to touch, scrape into piping bags and reserve until needed.
