Corn Grits With Redeye Bacon Gravy
Blend milk and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil with salt and pepper. Add grits slowly while stirring to avoid clumps.
Reduce heat and cook until tender and creamy, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Plate 1/2 cup grits and pour 1/4 cup gravy over grits.
Finish dish with peas, cilantro, pickled kale, onion jam or any other light and exciting garnish.
