Celebrate the 2017 James Beard Award Winners with Their Recipes
The James Beard Awards were held last night in Chicago, and we've rounded up some of our favorite recipes from this year's winners. Have a fish tail or collar? Make Greg Denton's coal-roasted halibut tails or collars with toasted garlic-lemon oil. Michael Solomonov's whole-roasted lamb shoulder with pomegranate is grilled and braised with chickpeas, while Andrew Taylor's brown butter lobster roll is a decadent spin on a classic. Finish with dessert, like Hugo Ortega's coconut tart with dulce de leche ice cream or Le Coucou chef Daniel Rose's blueberry clafoutis, which is also perfect for breakfast.
